Puppy preschool is a great way to introduce your puppy to other puppies and people in a safe environment. Early socialisation for your puppy is essential to develop confidence around dogs, people and different places.
While Maddie is on maternity leave, Anita, a vet nurse at HBVC, will be running the course. Her small group puppy classes cover basic obedience training and socialisation classes.
Puppy age
The ideal age for your puppy to attend these classes is between 8 and 16 weeks. Your puppy can attend after they have had their first vaccination.
Where and when
Our puppy classes run for 4 weeks and are held here at the clinic on Wednesday nights 7.30pm–8.30pm.
Cost
The cost of the course is $170.00.
FAQ
Your puppy is the most important thing to bring.
We prefer no more than two people per puppy due to space limitations.
Your puppy needs to come to class with a flat collar (not choker) and lead.
If your pet was vaccinated elsewhere please bring a copy of the vaccination certificate.
It’s good if your pet comes to class a bit hungry, they are then more motivated to eat treats and concentrate.
